Stephanie: Hi I'm Stephanie, on unceded Gadigal country (Sydney, Australia). I'm writing my PhD on Italian art history.

Hannah Spruce: Hi all, I'm Hannah. I'm coming today from Yorkshire, UK. I'm an academic writer. I've finished my PhD recently in Literary studies and I'm learning how to write in a new way / for new audiences.

Anita Campbell: Sorry to be late and that I will have a power cut for the 2nd hour. I'm Anita from Cape Town, academic writing on student success and thriving, with a focus on engineering mathematics students.

Jennifer Levitt: Hi I'm Jen. I'm in Brisbane (Yuggera) and I am writing my PhD in Education. It's very early here so I'm typing soooo slowly!

Grace Ko: Hi, I am Grace Ko from Korea. I currently live in College Station, Texas, USA. I am a doctoral student in Special Education. Nice to meet you! Today is my first time joining the writing studio.

Angelica Ribeiro: I'm Angelica. I live in Houston, Texas. My research is on second language acquisition. But I also like to write on happiness - that's my writing for pleasure. :)

Hannah Spruce: I had absolutely no clue what TELL might mean... I went for the nonsensical: Tremendous Elegant Luxury Language (which sounds like a brand)

Post-pomodoro: What did you achieve?

Nina Ginsberg: I got 3 pages of track changes edited for the article  (and will complete that today). A good start. Unfortunately, I have to run now (devastated I can't join WINDOWs!)..I need to go and get ready for work - I am being picked up in 25 mins. Thanks so much - see you at the next session. Anita Campbell: I added definitions and narrowed the scope of psychosocial theories to include in a presentation to master’s students new to the education research field.

Angelica Ribeiro: I edited the first chapter of my manuscript.

Jennifer Levitt: I revised the paragraphs I needed to rewrite.

Stephanie: Feels like an inverted accomplishment but I realised the paragraph I was trying to write I had already written in the introduction... so no need to work on it

Hannah Spruce: I rewrote the article abstract.

Grace Ko: I read "The Writer's Diet" and copied three paragraphs in the introduction. Thank you, Helen!
