Here is a paragraph from some 'fun' writing while on holiday with my son (writing for pleasure/ for nothing in particular...)

Samuel bubbled out of bed - an effervescent drink fizzing across the room, dancing and prancing and spilling out of the door - desperate to get away from routine and school. Today is our day, we are off and away. First stop the incredible new playground in Manukau, flying down the wet slide at supersonic speed, a crash landing and sopping wet jeans but nothing can break our vibes today. On to Paeroa and the tastiest pies ever, overflowing with goodness and pasty flakes folding themselves into our t-shirts. Samuel is starstuck by the giant L&P bottle and strikes a pose.
