[Reflection]

This week's workshop really was a kind of therapy for me. First, I didn't realize how fearful I was when it came to ever acting or performing, and then how disappointed I have been by (bad) theatre, rarely feeling that immersion or engagement. Role-playing the critic was too easy for me, so top of mind it is, but I was glad to follow it quickly with the praise and feel lifted and energized. Then I got some humour therapy by writing my screenplay literature review set on a playground, in which Foucault is a big show-off swinging upside down from the top of the monkey bars and screeching crazily while the ordinary kids (American sociologists) just try to ignore him and play their own, safe games.
